Delphi settles shareholder lawsuits

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Bankrupt auto parts maker Delphi Corp said on Friday it has settled class action lawsuits by shareholders and employees that grew out of financial restatements that were the subject of civil fraud charges the company settled last year.

Accredited Home soars 43 pct on new takeover bid

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Accredited Home Lenders Holding Co shares rose 43 percent on Friday after Lone Star Funds said it was prepared to buy the subprime mortgage lender at a lower price than it previously agreed to pay.
